Happy 9 Month Birthday!!!!!

Owen is 9 Months old today!

I can not believe that nine months have gone by this fast!

He has officially been out of my tummy longer than he was in there! :)

Here is what my baby has been doing!
* He has 2 teeth, well 1 1/2 :)

* He loves playing peekaboo
* He likes to yell and I really mean yell when he isn't getting his way :)
( I think it is cute right now but I don't think I will think that when he is a year and a half)
* He LOVES bubbles! :)

Dear Owen,
I love being your Mom and seeing your cute little head pop up when I go and get you out of your crib in the morning! I love your big brown eyes and your long long eyelashes. Right now in your life you love me so much that you never want me to be out of your sight and when I am you usually throw a fit unless by some miracle Daddy is ok for the moment. I just hope that I can be them Mommy you deserve, because baby boy, you deserve the best!

Feeling like a good mommy :)

So... a while ago Jenna and I had decided we wanted to make our own baby foods to save money and give our babies something that we would eat, and it took us until our babies were eating 2-4 jars of baby food a day to finally do it!

First we made the Squash and Squash with Corn :)



Then we made Sweet Potatoes with applesauce

Then we made applesauce with blueberries
(Which by the way is Owen's favorite food:) )

Then we made a fruit medley that had
applesauce, pineapple, peaches and strawberries
in it and a little sugar to help with the tartness.
( This one tasted really good!)

Then we ended with mixed veggies
which was carrots, green beans and peas.

This is a look at what a hard days work looks like,
we ended up with 112 jars of baby food!
