My Mini Cake Boss!

Owen has been loving the TLC show called Cake Boss

and tells me everyday that he needs to make a cake.

Owen said that he wanted Ashley to make cakes

with him so we invited Ashley

over for some lunch and

cake decorating!

First you need to put on an apron and smile for pictures!

Then you have to put icing on it!

Then you have to put LOTS and LOTS of sprinkles on it!

Then Voila!

The finished product!

Then last but not least you must eat it!

First day of Preschool!

We decided to have Owen go to

preschool Tuesday and Thursday Mornings from 9-11.

It is an in home Preschool in Lehi called

The Gray Elephant.

So far he likes it and talks about

going to preschool all the time!

I know lots of parents cry or get emotional on

theirs kids first day of preschool but I am not in the majority.

I knew he would love it and he is only gone from me for 2 hours at a time.

Owen LOVES learning and he is so happy when he is learning.

The only thing is is that I can't believe I am old

enough to have a preschooler!

Forts

Trent was so awesome

one night and took the kids into Owens room to build

forts while I got the house cleaned without children

underfoot :)

The Zoo!

As a last hurrah of the summer

Jenna and I decided to take the kids to the Zoo!

They had so much fun!

My kids love the Zoo and especially the new polar bear exhibit!

Random Summer Fun!

I am so far behind in blogging so I decided

to put some of our summer fun all in one post.

First there was Aunt Jenna being awesome

and taking Owen to the splash pad so I could get some

packing done ...

Then there was playing in the summer rain

with cousin Ashley!

And finally there was LOTS of

swimming at "Grandma" Caryl's!

She is Jenna's neighbor and our Realtor.

She is super sweet and she loves Owen and Owen

just loves his new "Grandma"!
