A whole lot of stuff is going on in our house!

First off I should let everyone know that Trent has lost his job, but we feel optimistic and feel that this is a step our Heavenly Father wants us to take to hopefully get us one step closer to getting us financially to a point were I can stay home full time. :) Also, if anyone knows of any job openings for a database administrator, database programmer or a web programmer please let us know so Trent can apply for it :)

Secondly we are going ahead with my surgery tomorrow and I am so excited! I can't wait to start my new life and get healthy and look cute and all that stuff!

So now on to the fun stuff!

We had lots of family fun this week! First on Monday Trent went and picked up his girls and we had a little birthday party for Bessie with just us at the Crouses house and Bessie thought that was fun!

Bessie opening her gift from me and Trent it was baby stuff:)

Singing Happy Birthday!

Then that night Trents parents took all of the Kids and Grandkids
on the Polar Express up in Heber and that was so fun!
The elves handed out cookies and hot chocolate, the head elf read the Polar Express, Mrs. Claus came and said hi and handed out recipes for her special magical cookies, and
Santa came on the train and handed out bells,
The kids had so much fun, and Owen slept through most of it.
but there are a few pictures with him awake :)

Owen didn't like all the noise and
Daddy was sympathizing with him :)

The girls sat with Grandma Smith and had a great time
and so did Jenna and her family.

Here Ayla and Bessie are showing the bells that Santa gave them for Christmas. I just have to mention this here.

Santa came to our house on the 21st while the girls were here and once we got home from the polar express Ayla wrote a letter to Santa
and this is what it said verbatim
"Dear Santa, this snack is what I give you. thank you far the belle. I hop you in Joy thes cookies! I want a Pair of snowboots."
She left that out with some cookies and milk! How cute is that! :)

This is "Christmas" morning with the girls

Santa gave the girls Strollers with Baby dolls
that had their names embroidered on them,
I tell ya that Santa is smart to do that
so they wont fight over whose baby and stroller it is :)

Next Trent and I had Christmas eve,
first we went and had some dinner with Trent's family
and Owen opened his gift from Grammy and Grandpa Bernie.
Then we went to my parents church and played
with my family and had some desert
and even sang a few Christmas Hymns
and Owen played with his walker
that Grammy gave him :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Owen has been loving the Christmas lights this year and really getting into the Christmas spirit with his daddy by eating the LED lights!
Apparently the LED lights are yummy!

We had Thankgiving this year with Trent's family and the food was delicious!
In Trent's family it is a tradition for the girls in the family to make gingerbread houses on the friday and saturday after Thanksgiving.
So... it was My mother-in-law Dawn, Two sister-in-laws Jenna, and Madeline, me and the two babies :)
We were only missing my other sister-in-law Emily, very sad :(
Anywho, as anyone that has ever met me can testify to
the fact that I am not a crafty or patient person
so I did not do a house but I did do a gingerbread tree.
That is all the patience I had but it was so much fun just to
hang out and talk and smell the gingerbread!

Here Owen is having his breakfast getting ready to head
over to Grandma's house, I can't believe he is big enough to be eating baby food and pretend to use a sippy cup :)

This is what Daddy and Owen were doing at Grandma's house while I was attempting my first Gingerbread fest, hey I think I will start calling this tradition Gingerbread fest and then the year! :)
*giggle giggle*
i.e GINGERBREAD FEST 2009

Owen and Ashley being way too cute for their own good
and yes Jenna and I planned matching their outfits
just because we are that dorky!

On another fabulous note!
I have decided to have Gastricbypass surgery to be able
to once and for all win this huge weight war that
I have been fighting my whole life!
I will be having the surgery on December 28 of this year and I am so excited!

Happy 6 month birthday Owen!

This post is all about my beautiful baby Owen! He is 6 months old today! He started solid food about a week ago and so far he likes peas and pears, but he doesn't like Sweet potatoes, applesauce or squash.

Owen is so adorable! He rolls everywhere and just yesterday on Aunt Jennas floor he started scooting! I get all teary eyed just thinking about how fast these last six months have gone! Owen is such a mellow and happy baby.I don't even think he cried once all day yesterday, which is crazy because he usually cries at least a couple times because he doesn't like getting in his carseat, but he didn't yesterday.

Ok, so just after I told you he is a very happy and mellow baby I also have to let you know that he does not like to be left with anyone besides me or Trent. We left him with Grandma Smith last week to go to the Temple and he wouldn't eat for her and cried the whole time until she got him to fall asleep and then this past tuesday we left him with my best friend Kohleen to go to a meeting and once again he wouldn't eat and he cried until she got him to fall asleep. I felt so bad for all involved :( also if you look at Owen the wrong way or you try to pick him up and I am not in the room he screams bloody murder at you. He even does this to my sister Suzie who he is around ofter and Trent's sister Jenna who he is around all the time. Oh well gotta love that cute face anyway! :)

I am so in love with my baby Owen and I love being his mommy, being a mommy is even better then I imagined! Yes, there are moments when I get frustrated with Owen and yes it is not fun being up for 3 hours in the middle of the night by oh my goodness is it so worth it!

Owen hung out with his cuz Ashley! :) Aren't they so cute together?

And of course we have been to Red Mango a few times this month and here is Addy and Owen hanging out at Red Mango with their Mommies! :) PS I am totally addicted to this stuff it is amazing!

We went to HeeHaw farm with the girls and we had so much fun!

After HeeHaws the girls and I went to get a pedicure while Daddy took Owen to the church to practice the Organ for sunday, I think we got the better deal! :)

5 month old stats and some cute pictures!

I seriously can't believe my baby will be five months in like 5 days! He is growing up WAY, I mean WAY too fast! So here are his stats

Weight - 14.37LBS = 18.72%
Height - 25 IN = 28.26%
Head - 17.25 IN = 73.74% Yes my baby has a big head :) But he sure is cute!

Milestones - He can now roll anytime and anyway he would like to, He loves to talk to anyone who will listen :) Owen loves books and any toy he can get to his mouth and taste. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 and half months old and his nicknames are... monkey boy, buddy, stinky, handsome boy, love bug, smiley, baby Owen and Owie :) He is also very good at jumping in his jumperoo! He likes to be sung and talked to. All around I would say he is extremely cute, huggable and a melow kid! We love him and can't imagine our lives without him!

Here he is trying to show his Daddy that playing the piano is a piece of cake as long as you don't care what it sounds like :)

Just a cute picture :D

Since I have a serious problem with sticking to one subject I thought I would throw this picture in. To me rainbows are so beautiful and they distract me when I am driving so I pulled over and took this picture , you wouldn't believe how vivid the colors were. I haven't seen that clear of a rainbow in years, so I decided to "stop and smell the rainbow" :)

Random stuff :)

Way too cute! My sister Marci is an amazing knitter and she knitted this sock monkey costume and wanted Owen to model it for her :) Isn't he such a cute monkey? :)
If you want to check out some other stuff she has made go to http://marmaladebabycreations.blogspot.com/. She also has an etsy.com store. I am waiting for her to make Owen some monster pants and a monster hat :)

New Subject :)

My new hobby is crocheting and I finished Owens monkey blanket so below is a picture of the finished product, and of course Owen has to be the model once again :)

Next New Subject...

I went and got Owen's pictures taken at kiddie kandids and I think they turned out so cute!

Another Subject...

Bryce is so cute with Owen! Everyday when I pick him up from school the first thing he does when he gets in the car is talk to Owen. Bryce has to get a smile from Owen before he can go get buckled up :) When we are at Bryce's house he will seriously sit and talk and play with Owen for like 20 minutes at a time. Bryce thinks it is hilarious when Owen takes his finger and chews on it and wont let it go. So below is a couple pictures of Owen eating Bryce :)

Yet another subject....

I decided to take some 2 year pictures of Mabel and below is the results :) Mabel is so flippin' adorable! I just love to pinch her cheeks!

I told you all that this was random stuff! I hope you enjoyed it!
