My Mom's trip here!

 Just a few days after my trip to Utah

My mom had already booked a trip to Indiana to see us!

A cute note Owen made for my

Mom and left on her pillow the night she arrived!

While she was here we went to the

Kentucky Derby Museum!

We also went to the Candy store/factory in

downtown Jeffersonville!

The rest of her few days here we just

hung out and I forgot to take pictures :(

My Mom's trip here was too short but

it was fun to see her!

My trip to Utah

In early February my Grandma gave

everyone a huge scare!

Very early Monday morning Grandma was up and

sitting on the couch in a state of confusion and my

mom was up getting ready for work. When my Mom

saw Grandma she went and checked on her and

Grandmas heart was racing, she was confused and her

blood pressure was really low.

My Mom and Dad took her to the ER and it was

determined that she had a septic infection. They admitted her

to the hospital and the doctors told my Mom to call

everyone and have them come say goodbye to Grandma.

The Doctors were convinced she was going to die

within hours, so I hopped on a plane early Tuesday morning in

the hopes I would make it to Utah in time to say goodbye.

I got there and she was improving but still very sick.

It was nothing short of a miracle that she lived!

I mean seriously, what 100 year old lives through a septic infection?

My grandma that's who! :)

She continued to improve and I was able to visit with

her all week! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to

visit with her!

While I was there I was able to meet 

Kohleens new baby Miles!

I also was able to attend the Provo city center

Temple open house with Kohleen and Miles!

I also was able to visit with other family

and hold sweet Donavin again!

I also took an impromptu Day trip to Pocatello, ID with

Dawn and Jenna to meet my newest niece Heather!

It was such a great trip to Utah and

I am so glad I got to visit and have fun instead

of attending my Grandma's funeral.

Owen is 6!

I seriously want to know

how my boy is 7 already!

Owen is such an amazing kid!

He loves school and his teacher Mrs. Hearn.

Most days when I pick Owen up from school the teacher

that helps Owen into the car asks if she can clone him and keep him!

Owen's teachers can not say enough good about him and

how much they love having him as a student.

Right now Owen is obsessed with everything Wild Kratts!

He has the best imagination ever! He comes up with

awesome games and is very imaginative.

Owen is such a thoughtful and loving child.

He likes to hug me and tell me he loves me at least 5 times a

day and I LOVE it! Owen gives the best hugs!

He has such a sweet spirit and you can see how much

he loves Jesus and Heavenly Father. His testimony is

so amazing for him only being 7!

He loves reading, non-fiction is his favorite kind of books.

He also loves reading the scriptures by himself and with his dad.

Owen is such a great big brother and is always looking

out and caring for Livvy and Kynslie.

I feel so humbled that God entrusted Owen to our care.

I can not believe how fast 7 years have gone by!

Livvy has gotten so great at writing!

She can write everyone’s names that are in the family,

and about 10 other words.

She LOVES being outside and riding her bike!

She knows all her colors, letters and the sounds them make.

She also knows the numbers up to 20 and

 can write them all and do some simple math. 

She loves baths and swimming.

Livvy goes to a preschool story time

 at the Jeffersonville library

every week and absolutely loves it!

Story time is the highlight of her week!

Livvy is the best big sister to Kynslie.

 She makes sure Kynslie has

what she needs and is really good about sharing

her toys with Kynslie.

Livvy and Kynslie are best friends! 

They play all day every day together!

Kynslie is in for a rude awakening

 come the end of July when Livvy starts all day kindergarten.

Livvy loves to hug people and encourage everyone with kind words.

She is also very stubborn and still has significant eating issues.

I am so grateful for you and you are such an essential part of our family!
