Gingerbread Fest 2010!

This year we did Gingerbread fest for the girls on Thanksgiving night.
Because the Girls were going with their Mom to a family reunion the next morning.
So we headed over the the in-laws about 7 Thanksgiving evening and my neice Hallie came with us too so she could have a sleepover with the girls that night.

Everyone had lots of fun! I was really tired so I just talked and helped a little and let Dawn help the girls since I was exhausted. Trent chased Owen and it all worked out.

Owen is 18 months!

Owen went in today for his 18 month check up

and he is doing awesome!
Weight: 24 Lbs 27%
Height: 31.5 In 27%
Head: 19.5 In 90%
The doctor is impressed with his vocabulary

Owen's exam room had fish all over the ceiling and
a submarine he could play in and he loved it!

Thanksgiving and telling my family the big news! :)

We had Thanksgiving with my family this year and decided that
that would be the day we tell my family the exciting news that we are having a baby and
that it is a girl and that she is coming in May!

So we had my mother-in-law make Me,
Trent and Owen T-shirts telling about the baby.
Me and Trents T-shirts said
"Our family is growing by two feet!" and then 2 little feet.
And well you all saw Owen's shirt and here is a picture just to remind you!

It took my family almost two hours to notice the T-shirts. I have to tell you
that I was trying to make it really obvious by holding Owen facing out
and pointing out the Me, Trent and Owen were all wearing the same t-shirts and
they still didn't get it! My Mom even talked to Owen and touched his little face and said something like you look cute in red . :) I was dying of laughter inside! :)

We were all sitting down to dinner and Owen was done eating
and decided he wanted Trent to hold him so
Trent picked him up and Tausha (my sis-in-law) saw the shirt and
said "Oh my gosh your having a baby! Let me read that T-shirt!"
Tausha's reaction was for sure the best!
So then my Mom was like "WHAT!?!" and then I popped another big one
and told them all that we found out it's a girl! It was so much fun!
But I think I waited a little too long to tell people,
I felt pretty sick and it would have been nice to have a little more support.
So next time we wont wait this long.
Then we told my Mom what her name will be and it is
LIVVY DARLENE SMITH!
Darlene is my Mom's middle name and she really likes
her middle name and we wanted to name Livvy after her!
I think that it meant something to her :)

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun for Owen!
I on the other hand was a little under the weather because
Owen gave me his sickies :(
But I was not going to miss Owen's Halloween!
We started off the evening with Kohleen coming to visit
and see my little monster.
Then we went trick-or-treating to a
couple houses with Jenna and her family.
Then we went to my Mom's house and also
to Trent's mom's house.
Trent and I ended the night with stopping off at Kneaders and
picking up some soup for dinner then we came home and
watched
Hocus Pocus on TV.
So fun! :)
