Happy 4th of July!

We started out the 4th of July
weekend with Livvy's blessing on
the morning of the 3rd of July
(That will be a post all on its own!)
Then we went to Trent's parents for
a BBQ and street fireworks!

He didn't like the fireworks all that much.
The loud ones really scared him and
he cried a little and clung onto
me for dear life.

We left Trent's parents at about 11 pm and
this is what happens to little boys
that stay up late!

Notice he fell asleep with
his glow sticks :)

Then the next morning (4th of July)
Trent let me sleep in while the kids
"helped" him make breakfast!

It's hard work "helping" Daddy make breakfast!

Then that afternoon we met my family
up Squaw Peak for a canyon picnic!

Livvy's Blessing Day!

We blessed our beautiful baby girl,

in the Lehi 25th ward!

My sister Marci made Livvy's beautiful blessing dress and bonnet.
The blessing Livvy got from her Daddy was beautiful,
I will let him post about his experience on her blessing day when he has it written.

(Cute little side story here... After Livvy's blessing of which she was one of five babies being blessed in our ward, which has to be some kind of record! Anyway... I got bombarded with little girls :) Scarlet, Rosie, Addy, Ayla and Bessie all needed turns looking, loving and holding Livvy during sacrament meeting. Super cute! :) )

I feel so blessed to be able to have this picture...
I remember when I was a little girl and then a young woman praying that
my Grandma would live long enough to see me married,
that day came a little over three years ago!
Then I prayed she would be able to see me become a
Mommy and that happened a little over two years ago.
Then I prayed that maybe she could stick around until
I had a little girl and that happened just six weeks ago.
Now my Grandma is showing everyone up by being 95,
still driving and in fairly good health.
I love being about to see my Grandma love my kids,
even if they don't remember her
I will remember her loving my kids
and I can tell them how much their
Grandma Julie Loved them!

It was a great day and I was so touched by
how many people came to bless our little Livvy!
She is one lucky girl to be born into a family that loves
and needs her so much!

We Love you Livvy and are so glad you chose our family!

My sister Suzie graciously agreed to take our

family pictures once again :)

Here are the results which are really good considering that Owen was
a HUGE stinker and wouldn't hold still or look at Suzie
for most of the pictures. And Trent was having issues opening his eyes
because it was really bright to him.
