Easter!

The Saturday before Easter we dyed eggs.

The kids LOVED it!

Sunday morning the kids woke up to Easter buckets and

eggs hidden all over the house.

They had a blast finding all the eggs!

Easter Egg hunt

Last Saturday we had a Ward Easter egg hunt. We were

like 10 minutes late and all the eggs had already been found :(

But thankfully there were some adults that had extra eggs to give to the kids

that didn't get any so Owen, Livvy and Kynslie all ended up with a few!

Kynslie's first surgery

Kynslie had to get ear tubes and her frenulum clipped.

We arrived at the surgery center at 7 am and she was

back in the OR by 7:50am.

Her surgery lasted about 30 minutes because her frenulum was really tight

and required 2 stitches and her ears were so full of fluids and infection that it took them a little longer to suction everything out.

When she woke up she was SUPER cranky and in a little bit of

pain and really didn't want to be there. 

After just about 30 minutes I asked if we could leave knowing 

she would settle down if we left. 

They let us leave and sure enough she settled down on the way home. 

She was a little cranky most of the rest of the day but since her surgery 

she has started babbling all the time and now says 2 words!

 Which are Da-Da and Uh-oh! This is a big deal since she really didn't

say anything or babble at all until after the surgery! 

I think she has just been living in an under water world for a while

 and when they got rid of all that fluid she could hear so much better! 

It is so fun hearing her little voice!
