Josh's birthday BBQ and hanging out with the Waldens!

The Waldens came to UT and we were able to see

them and have a BBQ for Josh's 15th birthday.
We had so much fun and I haven't seen Owen take to strangers
like he did with Nicole and her kids.
It melts my heart to see the little boy I nannied
just fall in love with my little man and for Owen to
want to hang out with Josh!

We ate and talked and sang happy birthday to Josh and then the next day
I went school shopping and out to lunch with Nicole and all the kids.
Owen LOVED being around them all day!
Josh was so stinkin' cute! He wanted to hold Owen and play with
him pretty much the whole time we were with them.

Once a year Trent's side of the family get together
in Eureka and we ride four wheelers play at the
park and eat lunch and dinner
and do a lot of talking :)

This year we did all that but on top of it all Eureka was
having Eureka days which isn't that big of a deal
seeing that maybe 800 people live in the whole town :)

So the kids got to play with the cousins all day
and got to play a couple carnival games and jump in a bounce house.

We had so much fun at Farm Country

at thanksgiving point a couple of weeks ago.
We went with Jenna and her kids.

Owen had lots of fun walking around and
seeing the animals but didn't want them to touch him.
Bryce and Mabel also had fun feeding the animals and Bryce liked the pony ride but Mabel wanted nothing to do with the horses. I don't really blame her, they smell bad :) Going to any kind of petting farm or Zoo is all for the kids! I hate going places like this but I do if for the kids, I over look the smells and the fact that I think animals are dirty, stink and I have no desire to touch them but I sacrifice for my children :)

Fun in August!

So you must be on pins and needles wondering

what we have been up to this month :)
Your wait has come to an end!

Owen got his MMR shot and pretty much the day after he
started running a fever and was really stuffy.
Then about 10 days after we got him up for his bedtime bottle and he
was burning up! His fever was so high
that he was acting really weird and laughing
for no reason it was pretty scary.
But all is well now and he is back to himself.

On Tuesday Me, Mabel and Owen went to the aquarium in the morning
and then after we picked up Bryce from yet another chess camp
we went to the childrens museum.
All the kids had fun but for the first time Owen really had fun!
He walked around everywhere and got into everything and wasn't told no :)
