Camping

Camping.... Not my favorite thing!

However I do love hanging out with family, four wheeling,
eating and watching my kids have tons of fun!

This was Livvy and Owen's first time
camping and they both had a blast!
We met up with Trents family at a spot by fish lake
which is like a 3 and a half hour drive from Lehi.

My little family and Jenna caravaned down together and
we stopped in Salina to have lunch.
The kids had fun eating and running around after the seagulls :)


Trent's family likes to camp where no one else is
which means no toilet or running water.
This kind of camping is new to me and I like that we are by no one
but I don't like the no toilet or water thing.
The spot they chose was really pretty and was right next to a stream.
Before I knew it Owen was "Bathing" in the stream.
He was having so much fun along with all his cousins!






Then after all the fun in the water
the kids decided to dig in the dirt!
It was so cute watching all the kids play and seeing
my kids get FILTHY!

(I know this is shocking to hear from me
the neat freak, but I truly did enjoy watching my kids just dig in the dirt)


And here are the results!

We ate BBQ chicken with potatoes and bacon!
It was YUMMY!

Then we just sat around and visited



Then Ashley and Owen found the four wheeler and pretended to drive.
They are so cute together!

After all that camp started settling down for the night.
Trent and I were in a tent and the night was HORRIBLE!
I don't think I will camp again with a baby or near cows!
Between Owen waking up every couple hours because he didn't know where he was
and Livvy waking up multiple times because she was cold and the
STUPID cows mooing all night, I think I may have slept
for like a total of an hour or two.

I don't have any picture of the next day because
I was too tired to care. But we did have fun, we went on a couple
four wheeling rides, ate breakfast, and played with family.

Then we left before lunch because I was
so tired and done being dirty.

We did have fun though!

4th of July fun!

Our 4th was pretty low key...

That morning we went and had breakfast with
my side of the family at my Mom's house.
We had so much fun eating, talking and holding the new baby.


That evening Jenna and her family came over for
Pizza, rootbeer floats and some street fireworks!









Owen was TERRIFIED of the fireworks.
After about 10 minutes of Owen screaming, crying and closing his eyes while saying
"I'm tired, put me to bed! I'm scared of the fireworks! Please take me inside!"
We took him inside where he calmed down and had some ice cream at the table.
Rachel didn't care for the sound of the fireworks,
but she braved them and just covered her ears :0)



Hopefully he will like the fireworks next year, but I'm not holding my breath.

Slip and slide

So a couple weeks ago
I watched Marci's kid for an hour so she
could go to the doctor kid free :0)

Jenna and I decided it
would be fun for all the kids to get
out the slip in slide and the kiddie pool for the babies.

All the kids except Lacey had a blast!
Although Lacey liked the cupcakes and hanging out outside
she just didn't want to be in the baby pool. :)

The Splash pad

A few weeks ago the Me and the Kiddos decided
to head over to the splash pad in Highland to cool off!
We met up with Jenna and her kids
and also Grandma Dawn!
A little while later Tausha,
Suzie and her littles joined us too!

This was Livvys first time to actually play in the water
and she loved it!

Weekend with Daddy

While I was away playing at a cabin
with the women in my family, Trent watched the kids :)

He took them to the hardware store,
Lunch with Grammy and the Zoo!







He even made sure Livvy had a bow in her hair! :0)
