Kynslie's Blessing

We blessed our beautiful baby girl, Kynslie, on
October 13, 2013.
It was a beautiful blessing which I didn't get to hear
until after the blessing brunch because the microphone
wasn't up loud enough.

Kynslie's Daddy Blessed her and the men
in the circle were...
Doug St. Julien
Hal Throckmorton
Steven St. Julien
Jim Smith
Brandon Smith
Matt DeYoung
Jake Smith
Clay Smith

After the blessing we all gathered at our home.
There were about 46 people squished into our little
home. It was crowded but so much fun to know how
loved our little family is!

Kynslies blessing day was a little overwhelming for me...
I had been up with Kynslie from about 3:30am on because
she started coughing and I was so worried about her. I have never had a
baby that young be sick and be coughing.
Plus it was just a lot of work getting my house ready for all the people, making sure there
would be enough food, being up since 3:30, worrying about my little baby
and then getting us all to church by 9am without Trent because
he was playing organ for sacrament meeting that day so he had to leave a lot
earlier that I would have liked.

The brunch went great and there was enough food for everyone.
Towards the end when people were making there way out
I broke down and started getting teary eyed and trying really hard not to cry full out.
Then a horrible thing happened right after everyone but my parents and Grandma had left...
I though I had made
sure to get lots of pictures of everyone and of all the men
in the circle with Kynslie. But apparently I had forgotten to put the memory card in and I didn't have ANY pictures on my camera of the occasion. At that point I completely broke down and started bawling about the fact that I had NO pictures of everyone with Kynslie. I was devastated!

Thankfully my parents and Grandma and Kohleen were still there so we got
pictures with those people.

I am so thankful to at least get the four generation picture
with My Mom, Me with my Daughter and My wonderful Grandma
who shares a birthday with Kynslie and whose middle name is after
my Grandmas mother Della!

Grams with her birthday gift :)
Kynslie Della!

My very talented Sister Marci knitted her blessing dress and bonnet for me!
Isn't she so awesome! Thanks Marci!

It was a rough morning but I'm so grateful for all the family that came
and supported little Kynslie and our little family!
