Shaker's Village

We decided while Grandma Dawn was in

town that we would like to go to Shaker village.

We went Saturday night after having breakfast with Santa.

It takes about 1 ¾ hour to get there but we had fun

talking singing and listening to Kynslie whine....

We were hoping to go on a wagon ride

but they were sold out so we just looked

around at a couple gift shops, walked around

the village and let the kids play in this wooden sleigh!

While the kids were playing in the sleigh

Mrs. Claus walked by and said hi to the kids.

The girls wanted a picture with Mrs. Claus but Owen

wouldn't even say hi. :(

After that we went home.

 It was great fun!

Breakfast with Santa at Owen's school!

We went as a family to Owen's school for

breakfast with Santa!

It was a pancake with sausage breakfast, then we

got in line to meet Santa!

Kynslie was so excited!

She kept saying “Hug Santa, Ho ho ho”

And sure enough when it was our turn she ran and

hugged Santa! She LOVES Santa!

Livvy ran to him to and told him what she wanted for

Christmas. Owen, on the other hand, was being

a stinker! He claimed he was sad because it wasn't the real

Santa, when I asked him what made him think he wasn't the

real one, he said it was because his beard wasn't real.

Much to his delight, after the pictures were taken he finally

talked to Santa and saw his beard was real!

He perked up after that and started having a great time!

After seeing Santa we made a craft and the

girls got their faces painted.

Livvy tried a candy cane and at first thought she liked it...

Then this face happened! Hahaha

 Then we posed for a couple more pictures!

And for reference here is last years experience VS this years.

Man, what a difference a year makes!

It was a really fun morning! :)
