Thanksgiving

Once again we had Thanksgiving
just our family here in Indiana!


I did all the cooking and decided to
try a new method of cooking the turkey
called Spatchcock...

It's by far the grossest thing I've ever done!
You cut out the backbone and crack the breastbone
so that the turkey is flat and cooks evenly and quickly.

It only took 45 minutes for my 8.5 turkey to cook.
It was super yummy and I will be doing it again next year!








Then while I was cooking all the side dishes
Trent was making pie with the kids!








Then we sat down to dinner,
Livvy was feeling yucky and had thrown up
twice during the night so she didn't eat and that 
is why she looks so grumpy.






I'm so grateful for this cute
family of mine!
