Four wheeling and lost camera

A few weeks ago we decided to
go to Eureka for some family
four wheeling!

We had so much fun! Owen LOVES four wheelers!

While we were loading up I took a couple pictures
of Owen and Trent on the motorcycle and then
asked Trent to put it in the van.

Well a few hours later I went to grab the camera
to download the pictures and we couldn't
find the camera ANYWHERE!
After freaking out and crying a little bit, I collected myself and tried
to think where it might be. And then I relized it must be at the city park in Eureka.
I thought about what I would do if I found a random camera in a
tiny old mining town and thought what would I do with it if I found it...
I figured I would take it to 1 of the 2 gas stations in Eureka.
So I called both of the gas stations and both of the women said
that there hadn't been a camera turned into them but that after work
they would stop by the park and see if the camera was still there!
I couldn't believe it! These women went out of their way for a complete stanger at 10pm to
look for my camera! Well, one of the women found it and called me immediately!!!
I WAS SO GRATEFUL AND RELIEVED!!
Not only that but the woman from the other gas station called me
and said she couldn't find it and was really sorry.
Can you believe how amazing and giving both these women are!
One day I will pay it forward!
I cried to the woman and told her how grateful I was and that
I would come to her gas station the next day to pick it up.
So the next day I made that woman cookies and wrote her a thank you letter.

Oh how I love my 3 year old!

So Owen and I were outside and

we had the following conversation...

Owen: "do you see that bird in the grass mommy?"
Me: "yup what do you think he's doing, Owen?"
Owen:"eating breakfast!"
Me: "what do birds eat for breakfast?"
Owen:"bug pancakes!"


Hahahahahaha love this boy!!

I seriously laugh everyday because of him!

Owen and Livvy's birthday party!

We had a combined party for Owen and Livvy

at the park by our house.

They had so much fun at their party!
We BBQ hotdogs and had a potluck with our families.

We ate, played at the park and of course sang Happy birthday and Cake!

I just have to explain his cake...

for weeks now Owen has said he want multiple things on his birthday

instead of making him narrow it down I decided to just put it all on the cake!

For Livvy's smashing cake I made her a

Zebra print one to match her birthday outfit! :0)

She wouldn't take one bite but she smashed it a little

with her legs and feet.

Owen is 3!

I can't believe my baby boy is 3!

Here are some things about Owen!

• He knows ALL his letters and what sounds they make.
• Can spell his name
• Can count to 20
• Is fully potty trained!
• Loves Mickey Mouse
• His favorite TV show is Super Why
• Loves riding on Daddy's motorcycle and four wheeler
• Can actually sing on pitch
• Tries so hard to sing the hymns at church
• Loves nursery
• If he is afraid of something like a dog he says... "The dog just loves me."
• He is scared of dogs
• His favorite food is chicken nuggets and apples.
• He calls chocolate milk Bunny Milk because we make it with nesquick and it has the picture of the bunny on it :)
• He likes to torture his sister but he calls it love.
• He can get and does get whatever he wants to eat out of the fridge.
• His little prayers go as follows (Doesn't matter if we are saying bedtime prayers or blessing the food it is always the same) ..."Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, bless the food to strength my body, name of Jesus Christ Amen!" (Super cute!)
• Owen is in LOVE with his "Punzel" figurines.
• He is ALWAYS talking!

We are so in love with our Little Man Owen!

He is a challenge as all 2-3 year olds are but

he melts my heart and I am so glad I am his Mommy!

Happy 3rd Birthday Owen!

Livvy is 1!

Can you believe that Livvy is 1 already!

She has such a big personality!

She can take up to 10 steps but that is rare she is really good at taking 3-5 steps!

The problem with walking (in Livvy's opinion) is that she needs to be able to run from the start.

She doesn't want to walk she wants to RUN!

Livvy is my HUGE drama queen in an ity bity body!

She throws fits that I didn't think 1 yr olds were capable of!

She starts out clenching her little fists, then comes the SCREAMING,

then to top it off she throws whatever she can get a hold of and sometimes she throws a little bit of hitting into the mix. I honestly have never seen a baby through a fit like she does!

(and that's saying something seeing that I have nannied 17 kids in my career)

Livvy is a lover too! She loves to give kisses and she does this by opening her mouth as

wide as possible and the making a really cute mmmm sound while attacking your cheek. :0)

She also LOVES snuggles! She will just hug me tight and pat my back! She is so stinkin' cute!

Every morning when I go in to get her out of her crib she sits up and waves her little arms

as fast as she can and does this little giggle thing. (I wish I could get it on video but every time I pull out the camera she would rather check that out then continue doing what she is doing.)

Livvy and Owen have a true brother/sister relationship. Sometimes she adores him and he is super sweet with her and in an instant it can all go south. However, Owen can get her laughing

harder than anyone else can.

A few facts about Livvy...

• She can say 3 words which are
• Dada
• Mama
• That
• She has a very infectious laugh!
• Wears size 2 diapers
• Wears mostly 3-6 month clothes with a few 6-9 & 6-12month clothes thrown in.
• Has enough hair for a little tiny ponytail on the top of her head.
• Wont eat anything but baby yogurt, gerber stars, gram crackers and breast milk and a little water.
• Likes pushing this little firetruck of Owens around.
• Can already color on a magna doodle and LOVES to do it
• Refuses to learn how to go down stairs. She can climb up them but will sit at the top and cry and cry and cry until we bring her down. She cries through us trying to teach her to go down them as well.
