Garden City with Ayla and Bessie!

The first weekend in December we decided
to spend the night in Logan so we could get to the girls
fairly early in the morning on Saturday to spend the day with them.
We wanted to get pictures of all five kiddos
together for Grandma's for Christmas.
Friday night was fun at the hotel. We went swimming and played for a little
bit and then it was bed time. The kids had a hard time settling down and
they didn't go get to sleep until almost 11pm.
I was not feeling well at all either and had a hard night too. I was up a lot coughing, the swimming was the straw that broke the camels back when it came to me coming down with a full force cold.

Saturday morning we picked up Ayla and Bessie and
went to the board walk in Garden City where we attempted to take pictures.

Because the my kids went to bed so late and got up so early
they weren't in the best of moods.

So most of the pictures looked like this....

But thankfully we got a few that we printed out for
Grandparents!

After pictures we went to an early lunch at a cute
little restaurant.

After lunch we went back to the board walk to try and get
a few more pictures, which was a complete fail, so we decided to just
let the kids play at the playground. It was such a beautiful day
for December and they had a lot of fun just playing outside!

Ayla and Bessie really wanted to get Christmas gifts for Owen,
Livvy and Kynslie so we went to the one store they have in
Garden City and let Ayla and Bessie pick out some
Christmas presents for Owen, Livvy and Kynslie.

Then it was time to say goodbye to the girls and head home.

I was feeling HORRIBLE but we knew that between Trent's 2 jobs and
colds and the busyness of Christmas we wouldn't make
it to Temple Square if we didn't go on our way home.

We stopped in SLC and had some dinner at the food court at
City Creek then headed over to Temple square.

We stopped to see the candy windows!

Then it was onto the lights!

All the kiddos LOVED the lights!

I'm glad we went because they had so much fun!
